Aminos / BCAAs INFO

Muscles, organs, glands, hair and nails are all made from proteins. Amino Acids including BCAA’s are important to all aspects off life because they synthesize proteins. Proteins are linear chains of amino acids. Amino acid BCAAs, or Branched Chain Amino Acids slow the break-down of muscle during exercise and reduce muscle soreness after working out. There are nine essential amino acids; Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine Phenylaline, Threonine, Tryptophan and Valine. There and three amino acids that make up BCAA’s and fourteen non-essential amino acids. The forementioned nine essential amino acids are unique because they need to be consumed through food even though there small amounts present in the body. Non-essential amino acids are abundantly present in the body and so it is not necessary to consume them from food. Each of the nine essential amino acids has a primary function in the body: Histidine grows and repairs tissues. Isoleucine repairs muscle tissue and regulates and stabilizes blood sugar and energy levels. Leucine, a BCAA heals the muscle tissue, skin, and bones. Lysine also a BCAA helps the body absorb calcium and is a building block for collagen. Collagen is what cartilage and connective tissues are made of.Methionine is an anti-oxidant. It helps breakdown fats. This amino acid also supplies sulfur which helps keep hair and nails strong.
