Reflex is one of the best known supplement manufacturers in the UK and for a very good reason. Firstly being the quality of their whey protein is superb, i believe it is 80 protein of a dry basis of 100grams. So whilst it is a supplement it is also a food source at the same time, so great not only for athletes but for individuals who struggle to meet their GDA of protein, such as vegetarians or people with a diet low in meat produce. Anyway, around to the review itself. Reflex instant whey comes in an array of flavours, I have tried banana before so shall comment on this. In my experience Banana is often the flavour that most manufacturers just can''t get right, be it a milkshake flavouring or whey protein, 9 times out of 10 it tastes awfully artificial, however Reflex seem to have created a taste much closer to that of a real banana and not so sweet and sticky as most other brands. So for that reason i vote flavour 9/10. As for the products mixibility, it dissolves in a small amount of water or milk approx 300ml quite easily and you are left with a liquid consistency that is easy to drink. So texture i rate 9/10 again. As for price, it is very affordable, most branded whey proteins can charge upwards of £10 per lb however reflex instant whey can be picked up for around £6 per lb so massively cheaper. Not only that but reflex also produce an economy range of whey protein at their sister company sportsnutrition.net so for that reason i rate value at 10/10.

Good product, I bought it on recomendation by a friend that has been using it for a while. I have tried both Strawberry and chocmint and both are great tasting and mix well. Recomened product. Stephen
