| SK Sports was setup by Samir Kiami a former competitive bodybuilder and well-known and respected figure within the sports nutrition and strength training world. On leaving school, Samir went to work as a sales assistant for Weider in Manchester, where he worked his way up to become the manager there. His ultimate goal was to set up his own store, so after a couple of years there he gave in his notice to the director of Weider UK and set out to achieve his aim. He started his own business with £500 of belts which he started selling to local gyms from the back of a van. He progressed to buying and selling other weight training accessories under his own brand of SK Sports, selling even to Weider UK. Samir developed into buying and selling “branded” nutritional products alongside his own range of accessories, this in turn enabled him to set up his own small warehouse. |  |
